Quest for your True Self: The three components
1. The first offering when you sign up is your birth chart interpretation that describes your prominent archetypes. An archetype is an original pattern or blueprint. We all have different and unique archetypes that make up our mythic self (who the stars wanted us to be). Learning your archetypal nature can help you get back to the original image you were born with.
By taking advantage of this powerful tool it becomes one of the most important and character revealing views of who you really are. It lays out the groundwork of your being and the path (while not predicting) towards your soul’s destiny if one so chooses. It provides the themes that help guide us towards our purpose in this life. I also helps align with our soul’s original intent. Understanding your archetypes expands one’s self awareness of who they are and how they show up in life.
2. The second part of this program is one-on-one Nature-Connected Coaching. For each module you will have a chance to talk about what is coming up for you with the readings, current life events and where you are on your path towards becoming your true self. It is the opportunity to go further in depth and sift through potential blockages or unknowns that you are facing. As a coach I am here to offer you my undivided attention and presence while asking the right questions to further inquiry into the heart of your matter (and the matter of your heart.)
Nature-Connected coaching differs from therapy distinctly by focusing on the present with the intention of moving forward in a positive way instead of digging into your past. You may discuss your past of course and once again we’ll focus on what you are feeling in the moment while (re)membering.
3. The third component, book club Participants will have the opportunity to choose passages that most resonate with them from the two different books. They will reflect on those passages and will share them with their cohort by posting their musings online. Both of the books are intended to help us get closer to who we really are through exploring exercises and the wisdom that the authors share. Along with the readings and assignments we will also gather online. Gathering online will give you the chance to connect with your cohort while sharing the passages/quotes that you were most attracted to.
One of the best and most important parts of being a part of a cohort is that you get to share your stories that compose who you are and be witnessed by others. From these gatherings you have the opportunity to meet other like minded individuals who are interested in becoming their true self and living the life they are meant to live. It is to be a supportive community with utmost importance on supporting one another on their path while honoring what is shared to the group as sacred.
Who may benefit
This program is for those who desire to live a more meaningful life and who want to discover their purpose while learning how to offer their gifts. Quest for Your True Self also helps people who may find themselves in the following situations:
It helps people who find themselves in a transition in life whether it is personal or planetary. The personal transitions include a recent loss of some sort, whether that is a person, relationship, job or way of being in life. Major planetary transitions/transits include one’s Saturn return (Occurring around the age of 29 or so and ages 58-60) and the ‘Middle passage’ occurring in ages 40-44. These periods in one’s life is an opportunity to get back in alignment with who they really are. There are also many other planetary transitions/transits as well but these are some of the big ones.
Another reason someone could be interested in this program is they find themselves lying in bed wandering what the heck they are doing with their life. (This happened to me in combination with a significant loss of a relationship). Maybe this person is just going through the motions of life and indulging in the modern distractions while lacking depth of life they desire. Because of the restlessness they feel motivated to change but they are not sure how or where to start.
Perhaps one has been recognized as ‘Successful’ on the outside while obtaining all of the necessary things in order to build that false sense of security that the misleading ‘American dream’ deems imperative. While one is continuing to accumulate the (un)necessary objects and status they begin to feel as though something meaningful is missing in their life. They are ready for a change and possibly a complete transformation in their life trajectory. This has the potential to occur around the age of 40 or what some people refer to as the ‘Mid-life crises.’
Quest For Your True Self may also pertain to people who have recently gained the status of retirement. Maybe the first few years of retirement have been lovely and possibly it still feels that way but they desire more meaning. Now one is starting to question how they want to live out the rest of their life or what kind of legacy do they want to leave behind. Jungian analysands such as James Hollis believe that the second half of life is more focused on developing one’s spiritual side while of course embracing true elder-hood by giving back to the younger generations and planet.
By indulging in these readings and assignments it will help one reflect on what really matters in their own life.
By signing up one is helping transform the world through transforming themselves by discovering who they are meant to be and what they are here to offer.
